Many military children wake up with little to no gifts on Christmas morning because their families are struggling to make ends meet. For so many of these heroic families the holidays can be a stressful, disappointing time...especially for families of troops deployed over Christmas.
This holiday season, in addition to the care packages we send to the troops, we have launched a special project to say thank you to the families of deployed service men and women for their sacrifice by helping provide Christmas gifts for them and their children.
Ways To Get Involved...

We are gathering toys, games, movies, books, etc. for children of deployed troops as well as gifts for the parents here on the homefront.
*Used toys and clothing in good condition are also welcomed.

Gift cards are the easiest way to donate and the most inexpensive to mail. Gift cards are also great for the older teenage children. Some examples of good places to get gift cards for our military families:
Wal-Mart; Target; K-Mart
McDonald's; Burger King; KFC; Sonic
Pizza Hut; Denny's; Ihop; Subway; Bob Evans
Bed, Bath & Beyond; Linens & Things; TJ Max
Best Buy, Circuit City
Blockbuster; iTunes; Borders; Barnes & Noble

Words of gratitude and support are some of the most important, valuable things troops and their families can receive. It helps them keep going and energizes them throught the difficulties they are facing.
